Introduction to Cheesemaking to be held at Kookaburra Organics farm Conondale Sunshine Coast  9.00am to 1.00pm

At this workshop we will create three soft cheeses, in our open "bush" kitchen.

Halloumi            (Originated in Cyprus).  Great for pan frying, add to a vegetable stir fry.

Mozzarella         (Is a sliceable curd cheese, originating in Italy) Ideal for pizza.

Paneer              (Indian home made cheese) Brilliant in a curry.

If you are establishing your Self Sufficency system or Homestead or living Off-Grid, then this course will provide the knowledge and skills to expand your food expertise.

You will be ready for any future emergency lockdown event.

We finish the workshop with a taste test of our three cheeses, so bring a container to take home a sample.


Facilitator

Zeb Hornabrook Passionate Cheese maker, Chef and Homesteader. Living off the land and being self sufficient has been at the forefront of his families lifestyle, which includes milking a few home cows , Beekeeping and attending a large organic vegetable garden, which he continues to expand.
Zeb's career as a Chef has provided him with a wide range of skills, which has given him a keen interest in developing easy processes for the home food maker.
